The Grocer

Spending a day by the sea was a perfect respite for the family during this Islamic holiday,and Ancol City was the perfect destination knowing that most everyone won’t be around.

So it was quite a pleasant surprise when I came across this.

Initially, I thought Jones the Grocer was finally in town! But after asking the staff I learned that it was not.

How did I manage to pull this answer from the staff?

I asked: “Hi,” I said, “is this part of Jones the Grocer?”

Staff: “Apa?”

I therefore concluded that it was not, although the concept basically attempts at emulating it: fresh meat, fresh vegetables, nice interior, and with tables for meals.

Whether they copied the concept or not, it’s the average consumers that still win out.

So even though our fridge was already packed for the holidays, I still needed to try something, you know, to help the economy, these entrepreneurs … So I could do this:
