Noah Banned in Indonesia

In one of the dumbest decisions ever, Film Censorship Board of Indonesia has banned the film screening of the movie “Noah.”
Indonesia has banned the release of the Hollywood blockbuster Noah, saying the biblical epic contradicts the teachings of the Koran and may mislead people.
“We don’t want a film that could provoke reactions and controversies,” said Film Censorship Board member Zainut Tauhid Sa’adi on Monday, according to news portal Detik.com. “Members of the Film Censorship Board have agreed to reject [the film].”
According to them:
The Biblical Hollywood blockbuster contradicts Islam, say film censors in the world’s most populous Muslim nation — even though Noah is revered in the Koran.
So while they find the film Noah to be a contradiction in Islamic teachings, they don’t seem to mind that pagan film Harry Potter was a blockbuster in Indonesia.
And to add serious insult to a wounded logic, they don’t seem to mind that the fornicating religious politician appointed as Minister of Agriculture was caught with his hands dipped in the nation’s cookie jar.
And that they didn’t seem to mind.
