You see how I turned boring terms like bank, property, business or stocks into a respectable single word like investment instruments? That’s just to kick in how good I Google. So to help you out, we’re gonna break down complex financial sentence structures into simpler words the average person can understand.

And as an expert … Googler, your options can be answered as follows: Read the rest of this entry

Tweeting Oprah Old Can Get You Into Trouble

As Oprah Winfrey’s show runs down towards its last stages — unless miracles happen — it can’t be helped that people get melancholic over a show, and the woman who has single-handedly redefined talk shows. Besides, her followers outnumber her critics.

Group Hug.

And so it’s quite surprising that during a recent broadcast, Twitter user @kp1lady publicly tweeted that Oprah Winfrey was not looking her best.

That she did in fact look “old as hell tonight!!!!!!”

Oprah has over 16 million twitter followers. Oprah doesn’t have time to read all her @-replies. Oprah’s not going to ever see the dumb things you tweet at her. Right?

Challenge Accepted

By N. Mark Castro

Impossible is a word to be found only in the dictionary of fools.

“Challenge Accepted” is an expression used to indicate that the speaker is willing to attempt completing a difficult task. The phrase is often associated with a rage comic character illustrated as a stick figure with crossed arms and a smug facial expression.

“Challenge accepted” began as a catchphrase for the character Barney Stinson in the television sitcom How I Met Your Mother. The earliest instance of Stinson uttering the phrase can be heard in Season 2, Episode 6 “Aldrin Justice” while announcing his intention to seduce an older woman. The episode originally aired on October 23rd, 2006.

On December 13th, the “Challenge Accepted” Facebook page was created, which has accumulated over 373,925 likes to date. It’s actually amazing how a simple phrase can take a life of its own, cross borders, break barriers, and ignore race and religion that the world can identify with.

As for my own version of this meme, all I can think of whenever a challenge is put forth before me is …
